Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at King Deux Search & Consulting. As a key member of our Partnership & Business Development team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with media companies, advertising agencies, and entertainment brands to explore collaborative opportunities in pop culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners to identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
  • Identify and pitch new advertising and sponsorship prospects within the music and entertainment sectors; negotiate contracts and manage the end-to-end sales process.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of advertising and sponsorship activations featuring entertainment elements.
  • Analyze advertising and sponsorship performance data to optimize media offerings and maximize revenue generation in the entertainment context.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, advertising, media, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in partnership/business development, event marketing, media/advertising sales, or a related field, with a focus on music and entertainment.
  • Proven track record of identifying, securing, and managing successful partnerships and media/advertising sales in the entertainment industry.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, particularly within the Jpop/Kpop and broader music sectors.
  • Excellent communication skills in Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English, with strong presentation and project management abilities.
