Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Lounge Service Delivery Manager and Premium Service Team to develop and implement service excellence strategies.
- Lead the front of house bar team, providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure high standards of service delivery.
- Liaise with the back of house team to ensure seamless daily operations and address any issues that may arise.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in the working environment.
- Ensure standardization and consistency in beverage preparation, presentation, and quality.
- Manage bar beverage stock levels and inventory control.
- Follow all safety, hygiene, sanitation, breakage control, preventive maintenance, and service standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest regulatory and service requirements, ensuring alignment of policies and procedures with operational standards.
- Develop and train the bar team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Stay updated and highly competent in beverage knowledge, including wine, spirits, cocktails, and tea.
- Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
- Assist guests in taking orders and provide menu recommendations.
- Ensure efficient delivery of drinks and snacks according to specifications.
- Address bespoke drink requests and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Post-secondary qualifications.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in lounge operations, catering hospitality, fine dining, sizeable luxury hotel, or similar capacity.
- Relevant working experience in catering hospitality, fine dining, and sizeable luxury hotel or in similar capacity is an advantage.
- Knowledge of wines, spirits, and cocktails. With wine and beverage certificate or relevant certificates will be an advantage.
- Polished communication skills with fluent spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and resilience to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills with flair in delivering service excellence.
- Able to work shift duties including overnight shifts.
