The Middle Office Manager role at Links International is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly skilled professional to oversee the management of securities operations, ensuring seamless trade settlement, accurate reporting, and effective risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Lifecycle Management
    • Review valuation reports and margin calls to ensure accurate accounting and timely settlements.
    • Collaborate with back-office teams to resolve trade, settlement, and clearing issues related to listed products in global markets.
  • Business Operational Support
    • Daily funding, currency deficit, and SBL Counterparties Cash Collateral monitoring to maintain operational efficiency.
    • Handle client trading account-related issues from onboarding to funding and margin concerns, including fund and stock deposit/withdrawal.
  • Client Support and Trade Confirmation
    • Provide accurate trade support and confirmation booking, ensuring client reporting accuracy.
    • Conduct audit and compliance checks, review accounts risk, and limits to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Funding Projection Model Design
    • Develop cost-effective trade settlement models to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Operational Control Procedures
    • Design and implement relevant control reports to identify and mitigate operational risks.

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Finance, Mathematics, Sciences, Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with 2+ years in a managerial position.
  • Equity Swaps experience is preferred.
  • Strong market practice, market operations, and regulations knowledge across various markets and products.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing work requirements.
  • Independent, enthusiastic, accountable, and able to work under pressure.
  • Logical and systematic thinking.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Access.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
