Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and processing accounts payable transactions, maintaining and reconciling account control records, performing bookkeeping tasks, and assisting in the preparation and maintenance of the general ledger.

Additionally, the Accounting Officer will be responsible for daily cash & GL reconciliation, monthly General Ledger Control and Attestation, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies, assisting with audits, and collaborating with other departments to resolve accounting issues.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Proven experience in accounts payable, account control, bookkeeping, and general ledger
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
