The Role

We are seeking an experienced PR Manager to lead our communications and coordinate with Public Relations / Media agency for a high-profile mega event in Hong Kong. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker and effective communicator who can manage comprehensive PR activities and media arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • PR Strategy Development: Develop a robust PR strategy tailored for a Hong Kong mega event, including live press announcements and media coverage, in coordination with appointed PR agency.
  • Sponsorship: Create and present a compelling sponsorship package.
  • Messaging: Craft and edit essential key messages to ensure consistency and effectiveness. Prepare impactful messages and visuals for a continuous stream of social media output.
  • Media and Press Engagement: Conduct thorough research and prepare press materials. Engage and manage media relations and outreach.
  • Crisis Management: Implement issues troubleshooting method and crisis management strategies, ensuring quick and precise communication.
  • Content Creation and Dissemination: Provide key points for panel discussions, keynote speeches, and young leaders' forums promptly in Traditional Chinese and English.
  • Summit Documentation: Lead a team to produce a detailed transcript of summit discussions in Traditional and Simplified Chinese and English.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in PR, media and stakeholders relations, as well as event coordination.
  • Exceptional trilingual communication skills in English, Putonghua, and Cantonese.
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
