Role Overview

The Administrative Officer will play a key role in supporting the Deputy Principal (Student Support) and Deputy Principal (Student Life) with the University Counselling, Learning Enhancement, and Social Emotional Counselling Teams. This includes coordinating and assisting in running school activities and annual events, developing and maintaining a contact database of university and industry connections, facilitating interviews, assessments, and testing for students, and managing reference requests for external school applications.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide support to the Deputy Principal (Student Support) and Deputy Principal (Student Life) with the University Counselling, Learning Enhancement, and Social Emotional Counselling Teams.
  • Coordinate and assist in running school activities and annual events, including university visits and university fairs.
  • Develop and maintain a contact database of university and industry connections.
  • Facilitate interviews, assessments, and testing for students; manage reference requests for external school applications.
  • Assist in the administration of the SAT on Saturdays, four times a year.
  • Publicize and promote resources, advice, and guidance available to students and parents.
  • Assist in ad-hoc duties and administrative work as assigned.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • An interest in working in a busy school environment and regularly engaging with Secondary students.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese is essential.
  • Strong communication and personal skills; high level of personal organization and interpersonal communication skills, ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Minimum 3 years relevant work experience; previous experience working in schools will be considered an advantage.
