Job Description:

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing and sales strategies to drive business growth and development. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Pricing: Develop and implement pricing strategies to optimize revenue and market share.
  • Assist to Achieve Commercial Goal: Support the Commercial Head in achieving commercial goals and objectives.
  • Others: Act as backup for team members during their absence, prepare announcements and updates for company website, coordinate Rate Builder (RB) guideline updates and maintenance with Trade, and solve AB/RB issues with sales team, AB approval team, and Documentation & Information System Department teams.

Requirements:

  • University graduate in Business Administration or Shipping related disciplines.
  • Min. 5 years of relevant work experience in Sales/Commercial fields, preferably in the shipping industry.
  • A good team player, good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and under pressure.
  • Proactive, diligent, and willing to work overtime if needed.
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese; Putonghua is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, especially in advanced Excel (e.g., Pivot Table).
