About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Operations Manager to join our team at Classy Wheeler Limited.
Job Summary
The IT Operations Manager will be responsible for leading the service desk operation, ensuring that services are delivered to meet the required service level agreements (SLAs). The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge and experience in managing IT infrastructure, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Service Desk Management: Manage the service desk operation, ensuring that services are delivered to meet the required SLAs. This includes receiving and resolving customer requests, as well as escalating complex issues to other teams.
- IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the management of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and security. Ensure that all systems are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Leadership and Communication: Provide leadership and guidance to the service desk team, as well as communicate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Project Management: Plan and execute projects to improve service delivery, including implementing new technologies and processes.
Requirements
- Master degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
- 8 years information technology experience in Banking/Finance or Accounting industry with strong systems operation and networking support exposure of which 2 years in supervisory role.
- Strong system and network management and support experience with the possession of business sense and knowledge in finance services industry.
- Technical certifications in operating systems, storage, WAN/LAN/Wi-Fi, VDI, MDM, project management (e.g. Prince2 or PMP) and ITIL preferred.
