Job Title: Term Project Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Term Project Officer to join our team at the Vocational Training Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and implementing promotion plans for Fashion and Design event activities, including video production, social media content creation, and press release preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and implement promotion plans for Fashion and Design event activities
  • Support and coordinate photography and videography for event activities
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including internal and external parties, for event planning, management, and execution
  • Provide support in general administration, financial, and supply matters, including procurement, budgeting, and sponsorship arrangement
  • Assist in proposal and report preparation for events
  • Provide academic support to programme development, learning support to student projects, and perform teaching duties as necessary

Requirements:

  • Relevant recognized degree or professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualification
  • At least 3 years' relevant teaching and/or industry experience
  • Good presentation, teaching, administrative, interpersonal, and team building skills
  • High level of proficiency in both English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects
  • High motivation for course/new project development
  • Relevant experience in Advertising, Video Production, and/or Social Media Content Creation
  • Good records of linkage with industry/professional bodies

Notes:

  • The post is in the rank of Lecturer
  • Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic/professional qualifications or those with exceptional academic/professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply
  • Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment
  • Appointees may be required to work irregular hours/outside normal office hours and/or at different work locations on a need basis
  • Immediate availability is preferred
