Job Description

Job Summary

Ogilvy is seeking a highly skilled Regional Finance Manager to join our Asia Pacific Regional Finance Team based in Hong Kong. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling monthly closing of regional books, reviewing monthly group reporting packages, and ensuring compliance with accounting and group policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle monthly closing of regional books and review monthly group reporting package
  • Compile SOX reports and group reporting schedules with sensible variance explanation in a timely manner
  • Manage cost allocations and intercompany transactions for Asia Pacific markets including PO/invoice, reconciliation and variance explanations
  • Liaise with service center for account payables and payment cycle
  • Assist/participate in annual budget/quarterly forecast and relevant schedules
  • Ensure compliance of accounting/group policies, internal control guidance, tax, audit and other statutory requirements
  • Assist in developing and reviewing internal compliance procedures
  • Independently handle statutory audit and tax filing
  • Identify and resolve accounting and taxation issues
  • Perform ad hoc assignments assigned by supervisors

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting
  • Qualified accountant
  • Minimum 7 years of practical experience in multinational/listed company
  • Hands-on experience in month end closing
  • Audit experience is a must plus solid knowledge of Hong Kong Accounting Standards and regulations
  • Strong problem-solving skills plus flexible mindset are essentials
  • Team player with good communication skills to work well with different counterparties
  • Able to work under pressure and manage multiple assignments
  • Be proactive, detail-minded, multitasking and able to work independently
  • Hardworking and willing to work overtime to meet reporting deadlines
  • Effective time management & able to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent command of written, spoken English and Chinese
  • Less experience will be considered as Senior Finance Analyst
  • Immediate available is highly preferred
