The Langham, Hong Kong
Located at the most fashionable address of Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong, you will be part of a dynamic team to drive for maximizing the long-term growth of the Hotel by increasing hotel's revenue and delivering high standards in guest experience in alignment with the culture and values of Langham Hospitality Group.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Chief Concierge in carrying out rules, policies and procedures set.
- Supervise Concierge Colleagues' attendance according to the duty roster and supervise their performance while on duty.
- Acts as a key in the vertical communication channel between the Chief Concierge and the teams. All the necessary information are up-to-date and precise when answering to guests queries.
- Ensure that all new join concierges are adequately instructed in service rules, policies and procedures; ensuring that service procedures are adhered to and carried out in detail and are corrected through constant on-the-job training.
- Conduct training in order to up-keep professional standard of service.
- Supervise the service of receiving, stringing, shipping and packaging parcels and baggage for the guests.
- Stay abreast of all functions and events which take place both inside and outside of the Hotel.
Qualifications
- Holder of Higher Diploma in hospitality-related discipline; University graduate is preferred.
- 5 years or above experience in Concierge of luxury hotel; Minimum of 3-year supervisory experience is required.
- Possess an extensive personal network among the industry.
- Profound skills of delegation, leadership, team management, training and hotel guest service.
- Open minded, service oriented, outgoing, proactive and able to work under pressure and stressful environment.
