Overview:
We are assisting our corporate bank client in their search for an Assistant Manager (Bills Operation). This role is essential for managing documentation checking and processing related to import collections, loans, and letter of credit (L/C) issuance, including Standby Letters of Credit (SBLC). Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough documentation checks and processing related to import collections, loans, and issuance of letters of credit, ensuring compliance with banking regulations.
- Verify and ensure the accuracy of documents in line with UCP 600 and ISBP standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline the bills operation process and enhance efficiency.
- Monitor and adhere to AML regulations, ensuring that all operations comply with relevant laws and guidelines.
- Provide support and guidance to junior staff members in the documentation checking process.
- Maintain detailed records of all transactions and documentation for compliance and auditing purposes.
Requirements:
- Associate degree or bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Over 5 years of relevant experience in bills operations management as a checker within the banking industry.
- Strong knowledge of UCP 600, ISBP, and AML-related regulations.
- Excellent command of written and spoken Mandarin, English, and Cantonese.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
