The Team and Role The team is a dynamic global group focused on delivering a successful customer journey and long-term client engagement. You will drive adoption, retention, user/usage growth, and support strategic objectives at the account level. The role may focus on migration, onboarding, or global strategic accounts. The Impact Your interactions with clients strengthen the organization’s relationship with existing accounts and support ongoing revenue retention and growth. You will educate clients on S&P Global Market Intelligence capabilities and help them derive value from our analytical solutions and data services. What We’re Looking For Positive, proactive attitude and ability to work well in teams Exceptional listening, and the ability to articulate ideas and complex information clearly Proven track record of maintaining strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and achieving high client satisfaction Ability to organize, multi-task, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Experience in a consultative sales or client-facing role (inside sales, prospecting, sales support, customer support) and in handling challenging situations Responsibilities Develop and execute proactive, ongoing contact initiatives in partnership with Marketing, Product, and account teams Drive continuous service improvement with the goal of product adoption and usage growth Update account profiles (affiliations, geographic presence, business interests) in Salesforce Educate and raise awareness within the client base about capabilities to increase usage; tailor adoption by user segments Provide platform, product functionality, and new-release training (on-site or virtual); liaise with product management to relay client feedback Monitor product usage with the usage analytics team and support renewal proposals; identify upsell opportunities Continuously expand knowledge of the product suite and new offerings and relate them to customer needs Understand customer business and market trends and connect clients with appropriate internal resources Route enhancement requests from clients to product stakeholders Leverage internal tools (CRM, cadence systems) to optimize client engagement Requirements Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Economics or related field preferred) Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 1–3 years’ experience in customer success, account management or sales in financial data or services preferred Knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce.com, SalesLoft) or research platforms advantageous Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese is essential; Cantonese a plus About S&P Global Market Intelligence At S&P Global Market Intelligence, we deliver accurate, deep insights and leading data and technology solutions.
