Recruitment Overview for Hong Kong Chief Executive Officer (CEO) We are seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with exceptional leadership capabilities and profound experience in financial regulatory compliance to join our team. This role requires overall responsibility for the company’s strategic planning, business development, and overall operational management, while also possessing the professional qualifications and practical capabilities of a Responsible Officer (RO) in Hong Kong. Additionally, the candidate must hold Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) Type 1, Type 4, and Type 9 licenses to ensure the company achieves efficient development and market breakthroughs within a compliant framework. Key Responsibilities Business Development and Resource Integration - Candidates with existing client resources and business pipelines are preferred. Ability to quickly introduce client resources (institutional clients, high‑net‑worth individuals, or channel partners) and launch business projects. Leverage deep industry resources and keen market insight to rapidly address the needs of institutional and retail clients, develop high‑value cooperation projects, strategic partnerships, and innovative business channels. Lead client relationship maintenance and in‑depth operations, drive quality improvement of existing businesses and breakthroughs in incremental businesses, and continuously increase market share and revenue scale. Priority will be given to those who can quickly scale up business through their own resources. Strategic and Operational Leadership - Based on market demands and company resources, formulate and implement medium‑to‑long‑term development strategies, focusing on Hong Kong and cross‑border securities markets, and promote large‑scale growth of core businesses such as Hong Kong stocks, U.S. stocks, derivatives (options/futures), and structured products. Description of Asset Management Business : Utilize personal resources to expand asset management businesses for high‑net‑worth clients or institutions. Design differentiated asset management strategies (e.g., cross‑border multi‑asset portfolios, alternative investment allocations) based on asset allocation needs, and establish an integrated process covering investment research, product development, and risk control. Link Type 1 and Type 4 license businesses to form a closed‑loop service of “trading execution + investment consulting + asset custody” to enhance comprehensive client value. Overall coordination of daily company operations, coordination of cross‑departmental collaboration among business, compliance, risk control, and technology teams, optimization of organizational structure and process efficiency, and ensuring the implementation of strategies and achievement of profit targets. Compliance and Regulatory Responsibilities (RO Functions) - As the Responsible Officer (RO), fully oversee the compliance of the company’s business, ensuring strict adherence to SFC and relevant regulatory requirements, including the Securities and Futures Ordinance, Financial Resources Rules (FRR), Client Asset Sourcebook (CASS), etc. Lead the compliance team in daily monitoring, audit rectification, and preparation of regulatory reports, draft and revise internal control policies (e.g., compliance manuals, risk management guidelines), and efficiently respond to regular SFC inspections and unexpected regulatory matters. Required Qualifications Qualifications - Hold unrestricted (no conditional) SFC Type 1, Type 4, and Type 9 licenses, with no adverse regulatory records in their career. Have at least 3 years of experience as a Responsible Officer (RO) or Deputy Responsible Officer (Deputy RO) in Hong Kong, familiar with the SFC regulatory framework and operational norms for licensed institutions. Experience and Abilities - Bachelor’s degree or above, with at least 10 years of working experience in licensed financial institutions in Hong Kong (e.g., securities firms, asset management companies, investment banks), including at least 5 years of senior management experience (preferred). Deeply involved in the full‑process operations of securities brokerage, investment consulting, or asset management businesses. Demonstrate excellent strategic thinking and business acumen, with a track record of successfully driving business growth and expanding market share. Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross‑departmental management skills, with the ability to effectively drive teams to achieve goals. Possess decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities to handle complex market environments and unexpected situations.
