Advertising Sales Executive (Based in Shenzhen or Hong Kong) Add expected salary to your profile for insights This position focuses on growing the advertising market in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area. It is responsible for managing corporate clients’ advertising needs, providing professional solutions, and building strong client relationships to achieve sales targets. We seek candidates with industry connections, practical experience, and international education backgrounds to help develop diverse business areas, including brand marketing, digital advertising, and media placement. Core Job Responsibilities Proactively identify the advertising needs of local Hong Kong and cross‑border corporate clients (covering industries including FMCG, finance, technology, and retail) and develop targeted advertising sales solutions. Maintain existing client relationships, conduct regular follow‑ups and business reviews, and improve client renewal rates and repurchase amounts. Participate in advertising project negotiations, coordinate with internal creative, planning, and execution teams to ensure the accurate fulfillment of client needs. Monitor industry trends and competitor activities, optimize sales strategies based on the characteristics of the Hong Kong market, and meet monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets. Organize client information and sales data, prepare standardized reports, and share them with the management team. Job Requirements 1 Hard Requirements Education : Bachelor’s degree or above, with overseas study experience at the undergraduate level (priority given to universities in Europe, America, Japan, South Korea, etc.). Majors in Marketing, Advertising, Business English, International Business, or related fields are preferred. Experience : 1-3 years of sales experience in the advertising industry. Familiarity with digital advertising, media placement, brand marketing, or related businesses is preferred. Candidates with local Hong Kong client resources will be given extra consideration. Language Proficiency : Proficient in English and Cantonese (fluent in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, capable of independently conducting business negotiations and drafting contracts). Proficiency in Japanese listening and speaking is a key bonus (enabling collaboration with Japanese corporate clients). Location Flexibility : Able to travel between Shenzhen and Hong Kong at any time, adapt to the local Hong Kong business work rhythm, and familiarity with overseas business culture is preferred. 2 Core Competencies Communication Skills : Strong logical communication and empathy skills, able to accurately capture client needs and convert them into sales entry points. Candidates skilled in cross‑cultural business communication are preferred. Resilience : Strong sense of goal orientation, able to adapt to the fast pace of the advertising industry and performance appraisal pressure. Professionalism : Understanding of the advertising industry operation process; familiarity with mainstream advertising placement channels (such as social media, outdoor media, and online platforms) is preferred. Teamwork : Ability to collaborate efficiently with multiple internal departments to promote the smooth execution of projects.
