A pioneering Custom Tokenization-As-A-Service engine is seeking a dynamic Chief Technology Officer. This company is at the forefront of partnering with licensed exchanges and financial institutions with decentralized finance protocols, offering a unique platform that leverages tokenization for enhanced liquidity and operational efficiency. Serving both Fortune 500 companies and SMEs with a focus on crypto mining, AI, big data, and hardware enterprises, the company is well-backed by angel investors and is gearing up for an institutional funding round.

The team comprises founders with significant experience from major DeFi products, having previously worked at prestigious organizations like DTCC, MakerDAO, State Street, Bessemer Venture Partners, and Hyperchain.

Job Summary:

The company is looking for a CTO to drive their technological vision and execution. This role involves leading the development of a decentralized system for managing RWAs, including a toolkit for data attestation and a robust tokenization engine aimed at financial institutions. The CTO will bridge traditional finance with DeFi, ensuring the platform's high performance, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Technology Leadership:

  • Shape and execute the technical strategy to align with the company's business objectives in the DeFi space.
  • Oversee the creation and rollout of core products such as the DRDS (Decentralized RWA Data System) and a DeFi platform for asset management.

Product Development:

  • Guide the product from concept to launch, defining objectives and prioritizing features.
  • Manage the product lifecycle ensuring high-quality delivery.
  • Lead a diverse team of developers, researchers, and partners, fostering collaboration and clear direction.
  • Implement management systems to coordinate between internal teams and external stakeholders.

Technical Architecture:

  • Design system architectures that are scalable, secure, and performant within the DeFi ecosystem.

Partnership and Integration:

  • Work with financial institutions to customize solutions for asset tokenization.
  • Collaborate with enterprises to integrate their data into the platform.
  • Developer relations with partner teams: Advocacy through showcasing product capabilities and industry problem-solving, gathering feedback via established communication channels, and creating comprehensive technical documentation, tutorials, best practices, and support materials to facilitate effective product use.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Facilitate communication between technical teams, business units, and external partners.
  • Participate in strategic discussions during fundraising and partnership engagements.

Quality Assurance:

  • Direct QA processes to maintain high product standards.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience as a CTO or similar tech leadership role in tech, blockchain, DeFi, or fintech sectors.
  • Profound knowledge in blockchain, smart contracts, tokenization, data attestation, and decentralized technologies.
  • Proven track record in leading and scaling teams in a start-up environment.
  • Strong communication skills in English; Mandarin advantageous for this role.
  • Ability to envision technology solutions that drive business growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute product visions effectively and efficiently.

Preferred Experience:

  • Background in traditional finance with an understanding of how to integrate with DeFi.
  • Knowledge of related projects in the DeFi space and DeFi mechanisms.
