General Manager, Corporate Communications - Conglomerate (Mainland China) We are seeking a senior executive level of Corporate Communicate Talents to lead the company's corporate communication area, report to CEO directly. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Corporate Strategy Partner with the CEO and executive team to formulate and implement the company's strategic vision. Provide strategic advice, insight and recommendations to the CEO and executive team on corporate communications, public affairs, and organizational strategy. Culture & Engagement Cultivate and promote a company culture that reflects organizational values, ensuring clear communication and understanding at all levels. Enhance employee engagement and foster diversity, equity, and inclusion, thereby maintaining high morale and commitment. Design and execute a unified corporate affairs strategy aligned with the company's vision and long‑term objectives. Oversee government and public relations, ensuring proactive engagement with critical stakeholders, including governmental bodies, LegCo, and media representatives in Hong Kong and Mainland China. Company Synergy & Internal Affairs Drive internal synergy initiatives. Collaborate with related partners to ensure alignment and execution of activities across the organization. Governance & Compliance Manage the governance framework to ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and corporate standards. Lead initiatives to improve board effectiveness and support board operations. Monitor legal, compliance, and regulatory risks, and design strategies to mitigate potential emergencies. Stakeholder Relations & Advocacy Build and sustain relationships with shareholders, regulatory bodies, and industry associations. Represent the company in high‑stakes discussions and negotiations with external parties. Advocate for the company's interests with local, state, and federal government parties. Track and analyze regulatory changes and legislative developments affecting the organization. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Lead CSR initiatives that align with business goals and meet community needs. Form strategic partnerships with non‑profits, government entities, and other stakeholders to enhance social impact. Qualifications Over 20 years of experience in corporate affairs, HR, public relations, or communications, with a minimum of 8 years in a leadership capacity. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related discipline; a Master's degree or MBA is preferred. Proven experience in government relations and media engagement in both Hong Kong and Mainland China, including interactions with LegCo and regulatory bodies. Strong strategic thinking and business acumen to align corporate affairs initiatives with organizational objectives. Exceptional tactical skills and critical thinking capabilities, with a talent for delivering strategic insights. Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, effective across all management levels. Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all organizational tiers.
