Key Responsibilities Corporate Messaging and Management Develop and/or manage communications across all channels by adhering to the corporate communications strategies, including but not limited to corporate updates, results announcements, press releases, social media posts, newsletters, speeches, official statements, messaging kits, and award submissions. Partner with internal teams and external consultants to develop communications initiatives, ensuring messaging is aligned, accurate, and resonates with target audiences. Support the planning and delivery of communications related to financial results, corporate initiatives, and strategic milestones. Lead the production of financial reports and ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and media coverage to inform and refine strategic communication initiatives. Monitor and evaluate communications performance with regular reporting, and make recommendations for improvement. Media Relations Develop and execute media plans to enhance corporate visibility with positive sentiment. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media outlets and journalists, while ensuring the media database is up to date. Serve as the liaison between the company and media, influencers, and communications consultants. Manage PR agencies to ensure high quality and efficient execution of communications initiatives in Hong Kong and mainland China. Plan and execute media events, such as results announcements and business updates, to ensure impactful and timely delivery. Identify and create suitable media engagement opportunities for spokespersons, and provide them with key messaging guidance, briefing materials, and Q&A preparation. Conduct media monitoring and social listening on a rotational basis. Issue Management Monitor and evaluate reputational risks across the company’s operations, ensuring timely identification and mitigation of emerging issues. Develop, review and edit outgoing statements/responses related to public/media inquiries, community concerns, and regulatory issues to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with corporate messaging to protect the corporate image. Work closely with cross‑functional teams such as operations, marketing, legal, construction, etc. to manage issues effectively. Maintain and update crisis management policy and relevant documents. Conduct crisis drills and post‑incident reviews to enhance crisis preparedness and strengthen future response strategies. Others Support adoption of AI tools to streamline work processes and boost productivity. Support ad hoc tasks and special projects as required. Requirements Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Literature, or relevant discipline. At least 8-10 years of experience in corporate communications, marketing, public relations or journalism. Strong storytelling and content strategy and development skills, with the ability to create engaging and impactful communications across various platforms. Solid understanding of media relations and stakeholder communications in Hong Kong. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua). Project management skills, including budget and timeline management, and effective coordination with stakeholders. Familiarity with Mainland’s media and social media landscape and/or experience in social media management is an advantage. Friendly team player with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
