What We Can Achieve Together The Policy and Partnerships Manager supports The Nature Conservancy’s conservation goals by strengthening our partnerships with government, multilateral institutions, NGOs and businesses. They identify and cultivate partners to direct funding flows, influence policy, and accelerate TNC’s strategic objectives. Duties include developing partner engagement strategies and associated content such as funding proposals, presentations and project summaries. The manager also builds and facilitates internal networks, represents TNC’s Asia Pacific region in global initiatives, communicates progress on the Asia Pacific Policy and Public Sector Partnerships strategy, and works with country programs to secure support and identify policy and partnership opportunities. They coordinate meetings, develop agendas and related materials to support strategy delivery. Responsibilities & Scope Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with government officials, NGO partners and donors to influence public policy in support of TNC objectives. Collaborate with TNC colleagues across the region and globally on policy, sustainable finance and partnership initiatives. Ensure program compliance with internal policies and external requirements. Manage budget, negotiate contracts, assist with budget development and meet fundraising targets. Lead assigned projects and coordinate the work of others. Ensure compliance with relevant lobbying laws and regulations. Obtain cooperation from stakeholders without direct authority to accomplish program goals. Supervise administrative staff, volunteers, interns or temporary staff. Legal eligibility to work in Asia Pacific geographies including Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Mongolia, PNG or the Solomon Islands is required. We’re looking for a motivated problem‑solver; come join TNC. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree and 4 years related experience or equivalent combination. Fluency in English. Experience presenting to or communicating with business, government, or legislative staff and/or program leadership. Experience designing, implementing and directing multiple complex projects with accountability. Communications experience preparing and presenting project proposals and developing written communications. Experience working with corporate, NGO partners, government agencies and multilateral institutions in the Asia Pacific region. Desired Qualifications Multilingual skills and multicultural experience appreciated. Master’s degree appreciated. Familiarity with social, economic and political conditions in the region. Experience coordinating projects in a decentralized organization across multiple functions. Outstanding written and oral communication, negotiation and organizational skills.
