Job Duties: To be responsible for financial reporting, planning, forecast, cost control, and accounting matters of the Law Society; To oversee daily accounting functions and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of all financial processes; To handle full sets of accounts and prepare monthly financial reports; To participate in and monitor the annual budgeting process and other rolling forecast exercise; To ensure that accounts are kept in compliance with the statutory requirements; To ensure that financial management, including budgeting and cash flow procedures, are kept under review; To review and prepare annual statements of accounts and to liaise with external auditors and tax authorities; To be responsible for tax return filings to the Inland Revenue; and To perform any other duties as directed. The successful applicant must have: Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, accounting or related discipline; 10 years’ post‑qualification experience as a Certified Public Accountant; Solid experience in consolidation of accounts, management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting; Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; Computer knowledge with good skills in MS Office; and Strong communication and interpersonal skills, organized, efficient and independent.
