We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager to be part of a dedicated IT team serving Hong Kong Public Libraries. Your Impact & Key Responsibilities You will be the key member for the successful delivery of IT services and projects. You will work with a team of project managers and computer technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and customer service. Computer technicians are required to work at the library to Provide technical support and answer enquiries from library users on the use of computer systems and facilities. Provide technical support to library staff on computer systems and facilities to ensure their effective and smooth functioning. Monitor security and ensure orderly and proper usage of computer facilities in libraries. Handle computer bookings or registrations through ticketing machines, staff platform, claiming of booked or registered computers, printing and scanning for library patrons. Any other duties as assigned by library staff. Requirements Managerial Experience: You must possess a minimum of three (3) aggregate years of managerial experience in the provision of personnel support to computer‑related services within the past ten (10) years. Documentary proof of this specific experience is mandatory. Personnel support means services in respect of recruitment, project management, employment contract administration, payroll administration for the purpose of providing adequate personnel for companies. Computer‑related services include services that are connected or interact directly in the manufacture of computer hardware or software or the programming of the manufactured hardware. Education A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Language Proficiency An excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese is essential. Ideal Candidate Profile A strong track record in both technical and managerial roles, with demonstrated success in IT implementation, preferably within the Hong Kong Government sector. Prior experience working with the Hong Kong Public Library or other government bodies is a significant advantage. Superior communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills. High proficiency in modern office tools, including English and Chinese word processing, and a strong understanding of AI applications.
