Wing Jet’s Finance & Accounting team is responsible for the bookkeeping of the company’s financial records which includes but not limited to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash Management and Financial Reporting Functions. We are looking to hire a Accounting Manager/Senior Accounting Manager to manage and oversee the day-to-day finance/accounting responsibilities of Wing Jet Limited. This entails managing the month-end close process and including but not limited to overseeing the AP/AR/Cash Management and Financial Reporting functions. Our ideal candidate has an advanced degree in Accounting (or a related field), a strong understanding of accounting processes and technical accounting matters, and exceptional organizational skills with a high attention to detail. This individual must excel at time management and be comfortable working under tight deadlines. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the following core areas: Lead the month-end financial close process of Wing Jet Limited. Prepare the monthly internal reporting package for executive teams and present the results and findings for our overseas entities. Manage the technical accounting and overall processes including but not limited to AR, AP, Sales Billing, Cash Management and Financial Reporting. Serve as key contact for external auditors for all financial statement reviews/annual audits and preparation of tax returns. Be proactive in identifying and implementing process improvements across the organization to increase efficiency within financial reporting. Oversee, monitor and work to improve accounting procedures, internal controls and database management. Audit the workflow to ensure that all accounting transactions are processed accurately and in compliance with industry standards. Reconcile the general ledger on a real-time basis. Monitor the asset capitalization policy and the recording of depreciation. Conduct account reconciliation and analysis. Assist in the monthly and yearly closing. Review monthly bank reconciliations. Assist in the implementation of FASB changes. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferably in Accounting or Finance; Professional Certification preferred but not required. Mix of both public & private sector experience preferred but not required. 5-7 years' experience managing the financial processes of an organization. Wholesale industry experience is required; fashion apparel is a plus: need a demonstrated understanding of inventory stages and warehousing processes, including software/EDI and chargebacks. Excellent communication and documentation skills in both Chinese Mandarin and English. Strong Computer skills: expert with MS Office especially Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of accounting systems, such as Quickbooks. Knowledge of reading and researching EDI is a plus. Multi-tasking, highly organized, and able to meet tight deadlines.
