Commercial Manager (Public Services and Facility Management)

We are currently seeking a talented Commercial Manager to join a leading organization in Hong Kong. This role will focus on tendering processes and managing key internal and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will ensure compliance with commercial governance procedures and policies while acting as the finance and commercial lead for complex and large bids.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation and submission of tenders, ensuring alignment with company standards and strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate successful bid processes.
  • Ensure adherence to commercial governance procedures and policies throughout the tendering process.
  • Develop comprehensive financial and commercial solutions for bids, including pricing strategies, strategic analysis, and commercial models.
  • Review contracts and amendments, ensuring favorable terms and effective communication. Negotiate with subcontractors as needed.
  • Lead post-bid and contract reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
  • Identify and drive contract efficiency initiatives to enhance operational performance and profitability.
  • Assist in identifying and evaluating new business opportunities to support organic growth.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry risks and best practices to ensure competitive proposals and effective post-contract solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or a related field.
  • Proven experience in commercial management, particularly in tendering and bid processes.
  • Strong understanding of commercial governance and compliance procedures.
  • Excellent financial acumen with the ability to analyze complex data and provide strategic insights.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results.
