Job Title Asset Management Business Development Leader We are seeking an experienced leader to spearhead our efforts in attracting and managing investment from High Net-Worth Individuals (HNWI), Family Offices, and VIP clients in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of crypto asset management products, a proven track record of building strong relationships with traditional “old money” investors, and the ability to bridge the gap between traditional finance and the world of digital assets. Position: Director level, full‑time. Key Responsibilities Identify, target, and onboard Family Offices , HNWI , and VIP clients as investment partners. Develop and deploy tailored strategies to attract traditional investors to KuCoin's crypto asset management products. Build a robust pipeline of potential investors and nurture long‑term relationships. Leverage existing networks and build new relationships with HNWI stakeholders and key players in Hong Kong’s financial ecosystem. Act as the primary point of contact for VIP clients, providing white‑glove service and personalized solutions to meet their investment needs. Serve as a subject matter expert on KuCoin's crypto asset management products , including staking, portfolio management, and other investment solutions. Educate traditional investors about the benefits, risks, and opportunities of crypto investments, bridging the gap between traditional finance and the crypto space. Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies to position KuCoin as a preferred investment platform for VIP and institutional clients in Hong Kong. Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product, marketing, and compliance, to ensure alignment in client acquisition and service strategies. Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management on BD progress, market insights, and client feedback. Key Qualifications Minimum of 5‑8 years of experience in business development, relationship management, or institutional sales within asset management or financial services . Strong understanding of crypto asset management products and the broader blockchain ecosystem. Proven track record of working with Family Offices , HNWI , and VIP clients in Hong Kong. An established network within Hong Kong’s HNWI circles and financial institutions. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex crypto concepts to traditional investors. Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities, develop plans, and execute them effectively. Strong knowledge of financial products, wealth management, and investment strategies. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA) are a plus. Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to business development. High degree of professionalism, integrity, and cultural sensitivity.
