Banking & Finance Associate | 1-3 Years PQE | HKG We are seeking a bright and ambitious Hong Kong-qualified banking and finance lawyer with 1-3 years of post‑qualification experience (PQE) to join a thriving finance practice in Hong Kong. This role offers exposure to a broad and varied workload, including debt restructuring, leveraged and acquisition finance, credit facilities, syndicated loans, and general banking transactions. THE ROLE The successful candidate will work alongside seasoned practitioners, gaining hands‑on experience in complex, cross‑border deals while developing strong technical and commercial skills. The firm prides itself on providing early client interaction and meaningful involvement in transactions, making this an excellent opportunity for career progression. ABOUT YOU The ideal candidate will be a Hong Kong‑qualified lawyer with 1‑3 years of PQE, ideally gained at a reputable international or top‑tier domestic law firm. Experience in banking and finance is essential, whilst candidates with strong transactional backgrounds in related fields will also be considered. Excellent drafting and analytical skills are essential, as is the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. Fluency in English and business‑level Mandarin Chinese is required as the majority of deals involve cross‑border Chinese matters.
