Banking & Finance Associate | 2-5 PQE | Global Law Firm | HKG Job Openings Banking & Finance Associate | 2-5 PQE | Global Law Firm | HKG About the job Banking & Finance Associate | 2-5 PQE | Global Law Firm | HKG OUTSTANDING OPPORTUNITY Our client, a top-tier global law firm with a leading financial markets practice, is seeking a mid-senior level Banking &Finance Associate to join its high-performing team in Hong Kong. The role involves handling complex cross-border finance transactions, including leveraged and acquisition finance, private credit, project finance, and restructuring. You'll work alongside a collaborative team on high-stakes deals for an international client base, offering exposure to cutting-edge legal and market developments. ROLE The ideal candidate will have strong experience in drafting and negotiating finance documents, managing transactions end-to-end, project management with other teams,and advising on regulatory and structuring matters. You will work closely with senior lawyers and clients, ensuring seamless execution while mentoring junior colleagues. A proactive approach is essentialthis role requires sharp analytical skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment. ABOUT YOU Candidates must be 2-5 years PQEHong Kong or common law-qualified solicitors,with outstanding academics and prior experience in a top-tier finance practice. Fluency in English is essential; Mandarin, Cantonese, and/or another Asian language would be a strong advantage. We're looking for a driven, detail-oriented lawyer who excels both independently and as part of a diverse, high-calibre team.
