Role Overview As General Manager, you will oversee our operations in the energy sector, driving business growth through strategic M&A activities and effective team leadership. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement business strategies that support growth and operational efficiency within the energy sector. M&A Activities: Lead M&A initiatives, including identifying, evaluating, and executing acquisition opportunities that align with the company’s strategic goals. Fund Management: Oversee the setup and management of investment funds tied to new energy projects, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and best practices. Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high‑performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities within the energy sector. Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, regulatory bodies, and industry partners, to foster collaboration and strategic alignment. Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational targets and strategic objectives are met. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in the energy sector, with at least 5 years in a general management role; significant M&A experience is essential. Background: Proven track record at a top‑tier investment bank, with experience in fund setup and team leadership within the energy industry. Skills: Strong analytical, negotiation, and strategic planning abilities. Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to convey complex information to diverse stakeholders.
