The Capital Market Manager will be responsible for sourcing, structuring, and closing capital raises for new and existing projects within our vast Web3 ecosystem (including GameFi, metaverse, and platform infrastructure ventures). This is a high-impact, results-driven role requiring expertise in both traditional finance (equity, debt) and Web3 capital markets (token sales, token warrants). You will be the primary financial architect and closer for the next generation of Web3 startups we launch and fund. Responsibilities Lead Capital Raises: Own the end-to-end fundraising process for multiple ecosystem projects concurrently, targeting equity, token, and hybrid capital Investor Strategy: Develop and execute a targeted investor outreach strategy, leveraging a strong network of traditional Venture Capital (VC) funds, crypto-native funds, strategic investors, and family offices globally Pitch & Materials: Design and refine compelling pitch decks, investor memorandums, and financial models that clearly articulate the investment thesis and growth potential of each project Negotiation: Negotiate term sheets and final agreements, ensuring favorable terms and alignment with the parent company’s strategic goals Tokenomics Advisory: Work closely with project teams to design and model effective tokenomics (supply, distribution, utility, vesting) that support the project’s long-term decentralized economic goals Structuring Expertise: Structure complex "hybrid" financing instruments that bridge traditional equity with future token rights (e.g., utility token warrants or token-based SAFE agreements) Due Diligence: Manage and coordinate legal, financial, and technical due diligence processes required by institutional investors Investor Relations (IR): Build, maintain, and deepen relationships with new and existing investors throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring transparent and consistent communication Market Analysis: Stay abreast of global capital market trends, valuation methodologies (e.g., FDV vs. market cap), and regulatory shifts affecting Web3 fundraising to inform strategy Internal Communication: Provide regular updates to the executive team on fundraising progress, market reception, and strategic capital allocation recommendations Qualifications 3+ Years Experience in a high-intensity finance role, preferably within Investment Banking (ECM/DCM), Venture Capital, Private Equity, or Corporate Development with a proven focus on deal closing and capital raising Verifiable Fundraising Track Record of successfully closing multi-million dollar capital raises (both fiat and crypto) in the technology sector Deep Web3 Fluency: Must possess an in-depth, working knowledge of blockchain technology, tokenomics design, DeFi mechanics, NFTs, and the GameFi ecosystem Financial Acumen: Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills Network: An existing, demonstrable network of institutional investors (especially those active in the Web3/Crypto space) Experience structuring or selling token instruments (e.g., pre-sales, SAFTs, IDOs) Advanced degree (MBA, Master's in Finance) or relevant certification (CFA) Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup or conglomerate environment The Perks of Joining Animoca Brands: A Vibrant and Diverse Workplace: Immerse yourself in a dynamic, multi-cultural environment with colleagues from over 15 nationalities (and growing).
