Responsibilities:
- Formulate, plan and execute effective online and offline promotional activities to create new business opportunities for Hong Kong SMEs with market focus on mainland China and ASEAN.
- Lead a team to achieve promotional objectives.
- Build strategic alliances and relationships with industry key players and trade associations through proactive engagement.
- Coordinate with HKTDC's mainland and overseas branch offices, and collaborate with external parties such as fair organisers, industry institutions, associations, media, agencies, service vendors etc.
- Oversee daily operations, including management reporting, budgeting, and administrative and HR-related matters.
Requirements:
- University graduate with at least 10 years of solid managerial experience, preferably with sizable organisations in event management/organisation, public/corporate relations, or sales and marketing.
- Experience in digital marketing and/or e-commerce in Mainland China and/or ASEAN a definite advantage.
- Strong understanding of Hong Kong economy and China trade.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
- Mature with superior sales, marketing, and communication skills.
- Strong team leader with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, outgoing, and good in project management.
- Innovative and flexible, with the ability to manage multiple tasks under time and resource constraints.
Remuneration and Benefits:
The successful candidate will be offered a two-year contract with prospects for renewal upon expiry. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, plus an appropriate contract-end gratuity. Medical benefits and annual leave will be offered.
