Commercial Banking – Global Trade Solutions. Hang Seng’s Commercial Banking business provides customized one‑stop financial solutions to our corporate customers, from prime SME to publicly listed companies. For customers conducting business locally or globally, we offer corporate lending, trade finance, receivables, structured loan, cash management, treasury services, insurance and e‑banking services. Principal Responsibilities Initiate and drive development, delivery and commercialization of trade finance products and propositions to achieve revenue growth targets. Stay on top of market trends and leverage customer feedback to fill product gaps and enhance competitive strengths. Manage pricing, documentation and other ongoing product‑management activities to deliver fair outcomes to customers. Provide support on complex deal structures and collaborate with coverage, sales and services teams to ensure high‑value customer relationships are managed. Collaborate with stakeholders across functions to ensure alignment of business objectives regarding target customer groups. Ensure credit and risk recommendations, procedures and guidelines are implemented and adhered to. Requirements University degree in Business Administration, Finance or related fields. Proven experience in project, proposition management or commercial lending, preferably in trade finance. Good understanding of bank product development lifecycle. Strong attentiveness to detail, with ability to work independently and under pressure. Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation and analytical abilities. Strong problem‑solving and judgment skills. Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset. Intermediate level of trade finance knowledge is preferred. Proficiency in English and Chinese; fluency in Putonghua an advantage. Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) from the Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) are an advantage.
