1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicants Role Introduction This role is part of a professional team in our Flight Operations Department, which consists of flight crew and ground staff teams, both working to ensure the highest standards of operational efficiency and service. Safety is intrinsic to everything we do. As a Multi Crew Cooperation (MCC) Instructor at Cathay, you will deliver essential MCC training to cadets and direct entry pilots, focusing on teamwork and communication in multi-crew settings. Under the supervision of a qualified mentor assigned by the Simulator Training Manager, you will observe and teach, enhancing your instructional skills. Additionally, you will participate in various projects, office tasks, and workshops as needed, contributing to the overall effectiveness and excellence of the training program. Key Responsibilities Complete training in a timely manner including but not limited to Training outlined in OM-D Flying Training for type assigned Simulator workshops as outlined in OM-D Flying Training Learning Hub modules Cathay procedures and processes Fleet specific training materials Observe and teach under the supervision of an appropriately qualified person as assigned by the Simulator Training Manager Undertake other tasks such as projects, office duties and workshops as assigned Ensure that you work to meet Cathay standard of training Abide by the guidelines laid out in OMD, PPM, Simulator Instructor Administrative Handbook and other company procedural documents Preserve the confidentiality of privileged information Deliver Multi Crew Cooperation (MCC) training to Cathay cadets and direct entry pilots Requirements Have knowledge commensurate with the provision of airline level training. Able to demonstrate suitable flying skills during simulator assessment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to instruct and relay information clearly. Proven leadership skills and an ability to mentor others. Strong decision‑making skills under high pressure and ability to impart this skill to others. Hold or previously held an International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) – Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) / Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) or equivalent experience. Have completed at least 1,500 hours of flying experience as a pilot in multi‑pilot aircraft operations. Experience as a Flight Instructor will be an advantage.
