To support the pre-opening of Sichuan Verandah, Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour Hong Kong is seeking a talented Chef de Partie (Sichuan Cuisine). Responsibilities Prepare, cook and present Sichuan dishes according to standard recipes, portion sizes, and quality guidelines Ensure consistency in flavour, texture, and presentation, maintaining the authentic taste profile of Sichuan cuisine Assist with mise en place planning, stock rotation, and daily ordering Maintain cleanliness and organization of the station and work areas at all times Follow all food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards as per hotel and local regulations Contribute ideas for new dishes and improvements during menu development and tastings Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in professional Chinese kitchens, with at least 2 years as Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef experience in reputable hotel’s Sichuan or regional Chinese cuisine Solid wok skills and strong practical knowledge of Sichuan cooking methods, sauces, and ingredients Experience in hotel or quality standalone restaurant environments preferred Good understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices; HACCP exposure is an advantage Team oriented, positive attitude, and able to work under pressure during busy service periods We will provide comprehensive training programmes and career growth opportunities to the successful candidates.
