Project Nature (T26) To provide technical support for the Integrated Custodial and Rehabilitation Management System (iCRMS) and IT infrastructure, including the on‑site installation, configuration and maintenance services at correctional institutions. Duties Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full‑time second to serve the CSD. Provide on‑site installation and technical support services for IT equipment and software at Correctional Services Department institutions in various remote locations. Oversee and provide remote technical support for onsite team members and logistic arrangement planning. Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues with contractors in a timely manner to minimize disruptions to iCRMS services. Maintain accurate documentation, procedures and technical issues, and provide activity progress update reports. Perform system testing for mobile applications and web‑based applications running on iCRMS related hardware systems. Carry out any other duties as assigned by supervisors. Requirements Yrs of Total Post‑Quali Exp 5.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 5.0 Solid onsite end‑user system support experience for Android and Windows IT equipment such as kiosk, desktop and laptop computers, handheld devices and tablets. Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical staff. Good attention to detail in documentation and reporting. Good command of Chinese and English. Self‑motivated, independent, diligent, polite, pro‑active, fast learning and good team player. Working at remote correctional facilities for provision of support services as and when required. May need to work outside normal office hours to provide production support and onsite implementation. Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight schedules. Undergoing integrity check by HKPF is required. Technical Skills At least 3 years’ experience in Windows 7/8/10 (W10). At least 2 years’ experience in Mobile / Wireless Communication (MWC). At least 2 years’ experience in PC LAN Support (PLS). At least 1 year’s experience in IT Security (ITS). 1 year’s experience in Internet/Intranet (INT) is an advantage. 1 year’s experience in TCP/IP (TCP) is an advantage. Non‑Technical Skills At least 2 years’ experience in work with the Government (GOV). At least 2 years’ experience in site preparation (SPE). At least 2 years’ experience in software testing (STM). At least 2 years’ experience in vendor management (VMG). 1 year’s experience in presentation (PEX) is an advantage. Good coordination skills is an advantage. Qualifications At least Level 2 or above in 5 subjects including Chinese and English Language in HKDSEE or Grade E or above in 5 subjects, including Chinese and English Language (Syl B) in HKCEE or equivalent. At least 5 years’ post‑qualification experience in which at least 5 years’ relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
