Account Manager, Business Development

Job Overview We are looking for an Account Manager to manage a portfolio of insurers by maintaining relationships and exploring new business opportunities. Responsibilities Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis. Build and maintain effective relationships with clients to provide the best possible service in a timely manner. Focus on growing and developing existing clients, while generating new business. Act as the key interface between the customer and all relevant departments. Play an integral role in new business pitches and hold responsibility for the effective onboarding of new clients. Develop and achieve sales targets. Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet organizational standards. Work out business plans for all current and opportunity business. Handle client activities in assigned corporate account territory. Manage existing contract retention and explore new opportunities. Maintain good customer relationships through a deep understanding of their needs and company direction, and connect with stakeholders at all levels. Collaborate with teams to provide excellent client support and respond to customer issues. Achieve a high level of customer satisfaction. Work with the Medical team to share customer report analysis and recommendations with clients. Prepare and present quarterly/annual strategic meetings to demonstrate performance, promote client satisfaction, client retention, and upsell opportunities. Prepare and present regular medical service coordination meetings requested by clients. Prepare quotations and tender documents. Complete other ad‑hoc assignments as assigned. Qualifications Degree or higher with a minimum of 4‑5 years of relevant experience (preferred). Background in healthcare, group medical, employee benefits, or insurance is highly preferred. Proven track record in achieving sales targets. Result- and customer-service oriented. Team player who is detail‑minded and able to perform multi-tasking and finish tasks within tight schedules. Independent, well‑organized, self‑motivated with excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills. Excellent analytical and negotiation skills. Excellent command of spoken and written Chinese and English; Mandarin skill is an advantage. Proficiency in MS Office.
