Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic using PHP and the Laravel framework . Build and integrate RESTful APIs to support frontend applications. Optimize database queries and manage relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL . Implement secure authentication and authorization systems. Debug and troubleshoot backend issues, ensuring high performance and availability. Infrastructure Development & Performance Optimization Execute routine DevOps tasks, including infrastructure development, application release, performance optimization, real-time monitoring, and incident response. Monitor system performance metrics and recommend improvements to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency. Partner with cross-functional teams to address system design, development, testing, and security concerns throughout the entire SDLC. Work closely with security teams to enhance infrastructure security, implement compliance controls, support security audits and assessments, and conduct regular BCP/DRP drills. Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline and enhance CI/CD pipelines for faster, more reliable deployments. Compliance & Security Deliver secure and efficient solutions within comprehensive compliance frameworks, such as ISO 27001. Continuously improve the infrastructure to meet regulatory and security requirements. Documentation & Reporting Produce clear, concise, and standards-compliant documentation and reports to support operational transparency and knowledge sharing. Act as the first responder to production outages and security incidents, ensuring swift resolution and minimal disruption. Requirements Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. Experience: 5 years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong preference for candidates with compliance implementation and cloud migration project experience. Technical Skills Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP. Containerization: Proficient in Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with tools like Terraform and Ansible. CI/CD Pipelines: Familiarity with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD. Monitoring Tools: Experience with platforms like Grafana, ELK, or New Relic. Programming Skills: Experience with programming languages such as PHP (Laravel framework). Databases: Familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, or MongoDB is preferred. Soft Skills Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
