Date: 21 Nov 2025 Business Unit: Nina Hotel Kowloon East, HK Company: Chinachem Group Job Overview Responsible for running efficient operations of the hotel area, ensuring the areas are clean and meet hotel standards. Supervise and control the work performance of Room Attendants and Public Area Cleaners. Responsibilities Assign day‑to‑day work to Room Attendants. Direct and inspect daily routine cleaning of assigned areas including guest rooms and public areas. Supervise the overall cleaning and servicing of guest rooms, corridors, and other areas in accordance with hotel standards. Issue verbal and written orders for response to emergencies or non‑urgent repairs to Engineering and follow up accordingly. Handle guest requests and complaints, reporting to duty superior for further handling. Organize work assigned by superior, ensuring subordinates perform duties quickly and efficiently while maintaining quality and service standards. Report any irregularities immediately to duty superior (e.g., Executive Housekeeper, Assistant Executive Housekeeper, Assistant Housekeeper or Guest Services Manager). Perform shift duty if required. Control departmental stock on the guest floor, such as guest supplies, linen, cleaning supplies, and equipment. Assist superior in periodic inventory stock‑taking for linen, operating equipment, and guest amenities. Provide practical training and supervision of subordinates, especially for special cleaning projects, and enforce standards of cleanliness. Update room status by physical inspection and liaise with the Housekeeping Coordinator and Guest Services Manager to prepare operation reports such as DND, room discrepancies, and defects. Report any loss or damage of linen, furniture, fixtures, or equipment. Record the daily log and conduct proper handover to the next shift and duty superior before clocking off. Keep the floor master key and duty phone safe during working hours and return them to the Housekeeping office at shift end. Ensure that all on‑day “Lost and Found” items are sent to the Housekeeping Office for further handling. Perform any other duties as directed by the Assistant Housekeeper or Head Supervisor. Handle any other relevant projects and duties as assigned by superior. Requirements Secondary education; vocational training school preferred. 5 years of housekeeping experience with 1 year in a similar supervisory position. Experience with an international chain hotel preferred. Able to communicate in English and Cantonese; Putonghua is a plus. Physically fit, neat, tidy, and pleasant disposition, service‑oriented. Good interpersonal skills and team player. Experience operating housekeeping machines. Able to work under pressure. Strong supervision and leadership skills.
