Overview Established in January 2020, the Travel Industry Authority (TIA) is a statutory regulatory body under the Travel Industry Ordinance (Cap. 634). It is primarily responsible for licensing and regulating travel agents, tourist guides and tour escorts, promoting the integrity, competence and professionalism of travel industry practitioners, and managing the Travel Industry Compensation Fund. Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, the incumbent will: Lead, supervise and manage the Human Resources & Administration Section. Formulate HR strategy to attract, reward and retain talent for the Authority. Manage HR matters such as recruitment, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations and performance management. Provide secretariat support to TIA and its committees, preparing agendas, minutes and meeting papers, and supporting meeting logistics. Devise, implement and review office policies and procedures, updating relevant documents as required. Oversee general office administration for the Executive Office and manage reception services. Perform any other duties assigned by senior management. Requirements Holder of a university degree with no less than 8 years of experience in human resources, secretariat support and administration, including at least 3 years at manager level or equivalent. A trustworthy, self‑motivated team player with strong problem solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and people management skills. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage. Responsible, mature and able to work independently in a startup environment. Experience in HR system implementation is an advantage. Benefits and Contract This employment is a fixed‑term contract for three years. Further employment beyond the term is at the discretion of TIA. Fringe benefits include a 15% contract‑end gratuity, a five‑day work week, leave, medical, life and dental insurance, and statutory benefits.
