Senior Manager, Development & Community Engagement To assist the Assistant Director, Development & Community Engagement in ensuring smooth operation of the Development team, particularly the fundraising and events functions. To lead the creation and implementation of fundraising initiatives, from events (on‑ground and online), loyalty/membership programs to partnership projects, towards targets. To strategize donors’ acquisition initiatives, project and marketing plans, key content for engaging partners and targeted audience and development of loyalty among donors and partners. To manage internal and external stakeholder relationships with a high standard of communication skills to provide high‑quality engagement and customer services to partners, donors, and events participants. To explore new opportunities through building new corporate partnerships, nurture new donors and boost participation in fundraising campaigns. To evaluate, engage, and work with business partners, such as production houses, agencies and vendors, to ensure acquisition of high‑quality goods and services, and compliance with RMHC Hong Kong’s internal policies. As a key member of the team, provide substantial support to the team lead, line manager and team members. Requirements Degree holder preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business Management or a related discipline. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, with 5 years in a managerial position. Work experience in NGOs or educational institutions, and in membership programs, fundraising, major gifts, and grant reporting is an advantage. Excellent communications, presentation, project planning, budgeting and management skills. Excellent language skills in English and Chinese, both verbal and written. Proficiency in computer, website, digital and social media applications. Good interpersonal skills and ability to network, build relations and develop loyalty among corporate partners and individual donors. Skillful in negotiation and engagement with various stakeholders to achieve goals. Highly adaptable, flexible with a high degree of personal initiative and drive, innovative and creative mindset, analytical, detail‑minded, and with leadership attributes. Ability to provide options for making final decisions. A great team player while capable of working independently; quick learner who can deliver ad‑hoc projects under tight deadlines.
