Contract Part-time Assistant Social Work Officer (Community Care) (KWC605/25) REF. NO. Princess Margaret Hospital HK$39,485 - HK$87,341 per month including Monthly Allowance Up to 15% of total basic salary may be offered as end‑of‑contract gratuity to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance. Key Responsibilities Perform needs assessment and discharge planning for high risk elderly patients. Provide outreach service on psycho‑social assessment and intervention for post‑discharge support services. Render multi‑disciplinary patient service. Any job‑related duties assigned by senior. Entry Requirements Degree in Social Work from a local university, or equivalent. OR degree from local university, or equivalent and have successfully completed a one‑year post‑graduate course in Social Work at a local university, or equivalent. OR degree from local university, or equivalent and have successfully completed a two‑year post‑graduate course in Social Work or possess a Master’s degree in Social Work from a local university, or equivalent. Registration with and a valid registration certificate issued by the Hong Kong Social Workers Registration Board. Fluency in written English and Chinese as well as spoken English and Cantonese. Preferred Attributes / Exposure Grade E in English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination, or equivalent. OR Level 2 in English Language and Chinese Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education, or equivalent. Proficient in interpersonal and communication skills. Strong drive to help and utilize various social work approaches in patient care. Social work therapy skills. Empathy. Commitment to patient care. Cooperated with multidisciplinary team. Selected candidate will be offered contract part‑time appointment for 1 year. The required number of working hours is 32 hours per week.
