Systems Architect / Solution Architect (REF: SDA/SA) Provide technical leadership across the entire project lifecycle, including architecture design, development, quality assurance, testing, and deployment. Partner with the Project Manager/Scrum Master to forecast and develop comprehensive implementation plans, covering delivery timelines and resource requirements. Lead development teams and coordinate with partners/vendors, ensuring the creation of technical design specifications, architecture diagrams, integration interface specifications, and coding standards. Collaborate closely with business analysts and project managers to align solutions with project objectives and business goals. Conduct technical reviews of code and development processes to maintain high‑quality deliverables. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure solutions remain innovative and competitive. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as influencing and leadership skills in English; Cantonese & Mandarin. Strong cross‑team collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, project managers, business analysts, and technical teams. Minimum 10‑12 years of relevant IT experience with at least 5 years in designing and implementing large‑scale distributed applications. Systems design experience, with the ability to architect or explain complex systems interactions including data flows, common interfaces, APIs and other methods. Broad architecture skills, covering application, infrastructure, data and integration. Hands‑on experience and knowledge in Microservices, Event‑Driven or Cloud‑Native; container technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker), services and API models (e.g. Swagger, OpenAPI); storage solutions (e.g. SQL databases, NoSQL such as MongoDB, Hadoop, Redis, etc.); scalable networking technologies (e.g. Load Balancers, Firewalls) and web standards (e.g. REST APIs, web security mechanisms). Sound understanding and experience of contemporary paradigms such as Cloud, DevOps and Agile; solution architecture certification(s) will be an added advantage. Proven track record of problem solving and analytical abilities and ability to use own initiative. Demonstrated ability to adapt and learn new technologies, and passion for updated trends.
