Responsibilities Participate in a large‑scale Government systems integration revamp project. Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, including architecture design, development, quality assurance & testing, and deployment. Work with the Project Manager / Scrum Master to forecast and develop the overall implementation project plan, including delivery timeline & resource requirements. Lead development teams and partners/vendors, authoring technical design specifications, architecture diagrams, integration interface specifications, coding standards, and related documentation. Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to ensure solutions are aligned with project goals and objectives. Conduct technical reviews of code and development processes to ensure high‑quality solutions. Stay up‑to‑date with emerging technologies and industry trends so our solutions remain innovative and competitive. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines. Excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, and leadership skills in English, with proficiency in Cantonese & Mandarin. Strong cross‑team collaboration skills, able to work effectively with clients, project managers, business analysts, and technical teams. Minimum 10‑12 years of relevant IT experience, including at least 5 years in designing and implementing large‑scale distributed applications. Systems design experience; ability to architect or explain complex systems interactions, data flows, common interfaces, APIs and other methods. Broad architecture skills covering application, infrastructure, data and integration domains. Hands‑on experience with Microservices, Event‑Driven or Cloud‑Native architectures; container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker); services and API models (e.g., Swagger, OpenAPI); various storage solutions (SQL, NoSQL such as MongoDB, Hadoop, Redis, etc.); scalable networking technologies (Load Balancers, Firewalls); and web standards (REST APIs, web security mechanisms). Sound understanding of contemporary paradigms such as Cloud, DevOps, and Agile. Solution architecture certification(s) is an added advantage. Proven track record of problem‑solving and analytical abilities, with initiative and independence. Demonstrated ability to adapt, learn new technologies, and passion for current trends.
