Leading Hedge Fund Com Large Scale LLM and ML Project GPU and Low Latency Experience are preferred Role: Infrastructure Architect Our client is a leading hedge fund focused on quantitative trading and machine learning-driven strategies who is building a next-generation infrastructure to support ML-based trading , large-scale LLM deployments , and GPU-intensive compute environments . Project Overview Expanding infrastructure beyond the current office server room. The new environment will provide large storage capacity , GPU clusters , and low-latency, high-bandwidth networking to support advanced research and trading initiatives. This role is critical to architecting and deploying a high-performance infrastructure in one of the data centres. Technology Direction Low-latency, high-bandwidth network with significant compute resources, including GPUs. Machine Learning-based training and trading environments. Deployment of large LLMs , requiring GPU clusters and optimized storage solutions. Requirements 10+ years of Infrastructure Architecture experience . Strong design and deployment experience in network and data center environments . Proven GPU cluster experience (design, deployment, and performance tuning). Key Responsibilities Infrastructure Design & Deployment: Architect, implement, and manage servers, storage systems, and GPU clusters. System Administration: Administer Linux systems and virtualization platforms (e.g., Proxmox) and hypervisors. Container & Monitoring Setup: Deploy Docker/Kubernetes environments and implement monitoring solutions. Vendor & Hardware Management: Evaluate, procure, and coordinate with vendors for hardware and infrastructure needs. Data Center Operations: Manage DC workflows, including cross-environment connectivity and scalability. Networking: Configure switches and manage network infrastructure for low-latency performance. Performance Tuning: Optimize GPU clusters and storage systems for ML workloads and LLM deployments. Must-Have Skills Hands-on experience with network switch configuration and cross-environment connectivity . Strong Linux OS administration skills. Expertise in hypervisors and virtualization (Proxmox preferred). Proven experience in GPU cluster setup and performance optimization . Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and monitoring tools. #J-18808-Ljbffr
