Deputy General Manager (up to $1.3m in annual + bonus) Add expected salary to your profile for insights We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Deputy General Manager to oversee the office operations and facilitate coordination between the corporate office and manufacturing facilities in the packaging industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in packaging manufacturing, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. The Role Office Operations Management: Oversee daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in workflows. Implement and manage office policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize productivity. Collaborate with department heads to align office processes with operational goals. Factory Site Visits: Conduct regular visits to the manufacturing facilities to monitor operations, ensure quality control, and address any operational issues. Liaise with factory management to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and reporting requirements. Project Management: Manage special projects related to operational improvements and efficiency initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process enhancements and cost-saving measures. Staff Management: Assist in recruiting, training, and developing staff within the office and manufacturing teams. Foster a positive workplace culture that encourages teamwork and engagement. Reporting and Analytics: Prepare reports on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and growth. Utilize data to make informed decisions and present findings to senior management. Your Profile Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 15 years of experience in operations management within the packaging manufacturing sector. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain management. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using office software and data analysis tools. Willingness to travel to factory sites as needed.
