Job Overview The Branch Ops Sr Supervisor provides leadership and supervisory responsibility for a medium-sized operational/administrative team of clerical/support employees. The role requires a good understanding of procedures and concepts within the individual’s technical area and a basic knowledge of related areas. The supervisor improves process efficiencies in support of unit objectives, assists in policy application, exchanges complex or sensitive information, and influences decisions through advice, counsel, and joint accountability for volume, quality, and timeliness of end results. No direct responsibility for financial or resource planning. Responsibilities Provide support for operations activities in the Branch Channel segment. Contribute to workflow or process change and redesign, and develop a basic understanding of the specific product or process. Possibly accountable for regular reporting or process administration as an owner. Provide indirect oversight to a small team of individual contributors. Submit work to senior team members for review or approval. Train team members, monitor quantity and quality of work, and provide performance feedback. Handle full supervisory responsibilities, including performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, terminations, and direction of daily tasks. Assess risk in business decisions, ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, uphold Citigroup’s reputation, and supervise activity with accountability. Qualifications 2–5 years of relevant experience. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. This position falls under the Mandatory Reference Checking (MRC) Scheme, a standardised reference‑checking arrangement that supports the integrity of authorised institutions regulated by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority.
