Senior Project Manager

A Senior Project Manager leads professional services engagements, ensuring projects meet scope, timeline, milestones, budget and quality expectations. The role aligns with the SoftwareOne Project Delivery Framework (pmONE) and the agreed delivery methodology, coordinating with account managers, presales, solution architects and technical consultants. Key responsibilities include managing corporate, customer and third‑party vendor efforts to plan and implement SoftwareOne solutions. Responsibilities Plan, organize, manage, control and communicate all project aspects within time, cost and quality thresholds. Facilitate development of project artefacts and documentation in collaboration with the project team. Identify resource requirements and work with the Project Resource Scheduler to define and construct project teams. Lead regular core team meetings to review risks, issues and monitor project health and progress. Create and distribute regular Project Status Reports. Manage and control costs to drive financially healthy projects. Lead large‑sized projects as described in the Project Profile Matrix, supporting the Delivery Lead in customer engagements. Identify and develop new opportunities within current projects, supporting early qualification and opportunity assessment. Provide training to team members and assist them with professional development. Achieve operational objectives by preparing and completing action plans and implementing productivity, quality and customer‑service standards. Support the project team on all live projects and guarantee team performance in accordance with client and organizational frameworks. Directly manage multiple projects within the Service Practice. Manage senior‑level client delivery relationships and resolve conflicts. Coordinate knowledge sharing within the SoftwareOne PMO community. Ensure team members support knowledge sharing and reuse requirements of projects. Collaborate with Delivery Leads on risk management and project delivery. Partner with Solution Sales on presales activities and scope finalization. Participate in upselling and presales opportunities where appropriate. Support project reporting activities and completing all processes in supporting systems. Champion accurate project reporting and documentation in supporting systems. Provide ongoing support, advice and guidance to other Project Managers and team members. Foster a culture of excellence, continuous improvement and high performance in project delivery. Experience developing new and unique ways to improve operations and create opportunities. Experience with Microsoft Project, ServiceNow or any CRM tools as part of project delivery. Advanced level in project management and change management. Relevant Experience 5+ years in a Project Management role and/or holding a PMP/Prince2 Practitioner/Agile PM/SCRUM or relevant certification (preferred). Good understanding of Cloud (Azure, M365 or AWS) related projects.
