Role Overview Responsible to explore new business including but not limited to Deposit, Payroll, Credit Card, Mortgage referral and more. Deliver financial objectives and achieve NSR target. Meet client satisfaction and other metrics. Responsibilities Strategy Acquire new business under the jobholder’s area, ensuring high quality services to clients consistently. Cross‑sell appropriate banking products when opportunities arise. Ensure compliance with bank policies such as Code of Conduct, CDD, PDPO and Money Laundering Prevention. Business Achieve assigned individual financial, non‑financial and customer experience & risk management targets set out in the scorecard by maximizing business prospects and cross‑selling opportunities while maintaining close relationships with mapping channels and other bank departments. Acquire all segment NTB clients through branch network, call programs, outreaching channels such as company onsite, road show, cross‑border client acquisition and provide servicing through north/south bound or SWDV and MGM and internal referrals. Exercise necessary risk assessment procedures while handling new account opening, checking clients’ supporting documents and understanding clients’ financial background. Deliver high quality customer service while handling client inquiries and requests. Attend team meetings, briefings and training to keep up banking knowledge and skills and provide constructive ideas about workflow streamlining and improvement. Processes Comply with all applicable money laundering prevention procedures and report any suspicious activity to the Unit Money Laundering Prevention Officer and line manager. Comply with all relevant policies and procedures covering regulatory, local and group requirements. People & Talent Lead through example, build appropriate culture and values, set tone and expectations, collaborate with risk and control partners. Provide ongoing training and development, ensure holders of critical functions are suitably skilled and qualified and supervise effectively. Employ, engage and retain high quality people, with succession planning for critical roles. Review team structure and capacity plans, set and monitor job descriptions and objectives for direct reports and provide feedback and rewards in line with performance. Risk Management Comply with all relevant risk management requirements stated in policies and procedures covering regulatory, local and group requirements. Ensure control procedures in Branch Operations Manuals are fully implemented and staff compliance is maintained. Comply with control requirements in the relevant procedures or manual for job responsibilities. Governance For TR’s registration staff, ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements at all times. For RI's registration staff, perform regulated activities such as Securities Account Opening; Bond Account Opening; iBond / Silver Bond/Green Bond subscription. Provide relevant information in line with working practice standards. Assess effectiveness of the Group’s arrangements to deliver governance, oversight and controls and oversee changes as necessary. Regulatory & Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. Embed highest standards of ethics, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct. Identify, escalates, mitigates and resolves risk, conduct and compliance matters collaboratively.
