Merchandising and Sales Manager - Trading/ Manufacturer (station China) Our client is seeking a dynamic Merchandising and Sales Manager to oversee product merchandising, client relations, and sales growth for the operations. The role is based in China, requires strong commercial acumen, cross‑cultural communication skills, and the ability to drive business performance in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. What you’ll be doing Lead merchandising strategy from product development to delivery, ensuring alignment with client requirements and market trends Manage and grow key customer accounts, building long‑term partnerships and driving repeat business Oversee sales operations, negotiate contracts, and ensure competitive pricing while safeguarding profitability Collaborate with production, sourcing, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and quality standards Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform merchandising and sales strategies Prepare and deliver sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to senior management Support the planning and execution of trade shows, client visits, and promotional activities to strengthen brand presence Lead and mentor merchandising and sales staff, fostering a collaborative and results‑driven team culture What we’re looking for Extensive experience in sales and merchandising, ideally within the fashion accessories, sundries or garment trading and manufacturing sector Proven track record in driving sales growth and managing international accounts Solid understanding of production processes, supply chain, and quality assurance in manufacturing Strong negotiation, client management, and cross‑cultural communication skills Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data to inform strategic decision‑making Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to thrive under pressure in a fast‑moving environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams High language proficiency in Mandarin and English, both written and verbal; Cantonese is essential Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with ERP or CRM systems preferred Willingness to station in China, and to travel to other countries as required to oversee operations, meet clients and conduct sales follow‑up What we offer Competitive salary packages will be offered to the right candidates.
