IT Support Officer

POS System Management: Act as the primary technical owner for our restaurant Point-of-Sale (POS) systems. This includes daily maintenance, configuration, updates, menu changes, and rapid response troubleshooting for all outlets. Frontline & HQ Support: Provide technical support to our end-users at both the Head Office and all restaurant locations. Hardware & Software Maintenance: Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of all IT hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, scanners) and software (Windows OS, Microsoft 365). Network & Infrastructure: Assist in maintaining network equipment (routers, switches, Wi‑Fi access points) and managing user accounts (Active Directory, O365, file servers). IT Operations: Manage IT asset inventory, assist with equipment procurement, and maintain accurate documentation. Project Support: Actively participate in IT projects, particularly new store openings and system upgrade rollouts. Contact and manage outsourced application vendors. Assist in handling ad‑hoc tasks. Provide occasional remote or phone support as needed in emergencies. Requirements To succeed in this role, you should possess: Diploma or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Minimum 2 years of solid experience in an IT support (Helpdesk / Desktop Support) role. Critical Skill (POS): Direct, hands‑on experience supporting F&B or Retail POS systems is essential. Candidates with this background will be given absolute priority. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11 environments and Microsoft 365 (Office, Teams). Proven troubleshooting skills in computer hardware, software, and peripherals. A good understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, Wi‑Fi, VPN). A proactive, self‑motivated, and independent problem‑solver. Strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
