MRO Consultant

Job Summary The MRO Consultant will be responsible for leading and supporting end-to-end implementations of Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) solutions. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to design, configure, and deliver integrated SAP solutions that enhance asset performance, reliability, and lifecycle management. Responsibilities Lead or support the full lifecycle of MRO implementations, including business blueprinting, solution design, configuration, testing, training, deployment, and post-go-live support. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated SAP solutions across modules such as PM, PS, MM, CS, QM, SD, and Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry-specific components. Conduct business process analysis, gather requirements, and translate them into functional specifications and solution designs. Configure related modules to support MRO processes such as work order management, maintenance planning, resource scheduling, and asset tracking. Ensure seamless integration between SAP PM and MM/HR modules, as well as other relevant system components. Provide post-implementation support, troubleshoot functional issues, and drive continuous process improvement initiatives. Prepare and maintain functional design documentation, test scripts, process flow diagrams, and configuration guides. Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery and adherence to quality standards. Requirements Strong functional experience in SAP Energy/Utilities for SAP Plant Maintenance (PM). Proven track record in SAP EAM and MRO implementations with cross-modular exposure to PM, PS, MM, CS, QM, and SD. Experience working in asset-intensive industries with Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) processes. Hands‑on experience in at least 1–3 full lifecycle SAP EAM/MRO implementations. Solid understanding of integration points between PM and MM/HR modules. Ability to lead project teams, manage deliverables, and align solutions with stakeholder expectations. Working knowledge of HCL iMRO or similar MRO industry solutions. Experience in the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) sector. Familiarity with Document Management Systems (DMS) and SAP document handling functionalities. Exposure to SAP S/4HANA environments, upgrades, or migration projects. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
