We are looking for a Director of Wellness based at Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong
As a Director of Wellness, we rely on you to:
- Manage and supervise the daily operations of the Wellness Centre, providing world-class service, maximizing revenue opportunities, and achieving financial success.
- Be fully responsible for the development of wellness menu and retreat programs, using analysis from value, profit analysis, and competitor study.
- Submit accurate statistical reports, interpret data, and contribute insightful information for efficient marketing planning while liaising with the S&M Team and HQ Wellness.
- Use existing data analysis and market trends to form the budget.
- Oversee departmental training schedules and conduct training needs analysis.
- Conduct annual management performance appraisals and collaborate with HR in preparing and executing employee retention strategies.
- Provide excellent customer service, monitor guest requests and comments to ensure satisfaction.
- Perform any special duties and projects as assigned by senior management.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A degree in Health Education, Leisure, Recreation, Sport, Fitness Management, or related disciplines.
- 5 years of management experience in a high-scale wellness centre or resort.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with business acumen.
- Leadership skills to drive continuous improvement in customer service and business performance.
- A strong sense of urgency and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent command of English; knowledge of Chinese is a plus, along with hands-on experience in MS Office applications.
